Some of my earliest music memories are tied to my older brother. He was a gearhead – that loved classic rock. Had every Zeppelin album on cassette (even Coda). When he got a 5 disc CD player, he would let it shuffle all night – Tom Petty, Bob Seager, CCR, etc. In 2nd grade when we had to bring in our favorite music to music class—I took in Led Zeppelin II.
This release is inspired by this. It’s almost taboo to sample things so recognizable –most of these are (not so) deep cuts from [some] legendary bands. Grooves that have been stuck in my head for 30+ years.
